Myanmar became the youngest democracy in Asia, following a military coup early this February.
Since February 2, from our homes we have been banging the drums against the military, thieves of power. We stopped working and took to the streets to face the army. We have joined efforts to make food for demonstrators. And we will remain on the streets until we bring down this dictatorship. Today Myanmar needs the world's support. The help we receive will allow us to feed those who are fighting to restore peace and democracy in our country. Back up our people's determination to bring people's will back.

Myanmar es la democracia más joven de Asia, a principio de febrero los militares dieron un golpe de estado. Desde el 2 de febrero comenzamos a tocar tambores desde nuestras casas contra los militares, ladrones del poder. Salimos de nuestros hogares y tomamos las calles, dejamos de trabajar para enfrentarnos al ejército. Con nuestro sacrificio conjunto cocinamos y damos de comer a los manifestantes, nos mantendremos en las calles hasta derrocar a la dictadura. Hoy Myanmar necesita del mundo, la ayuda que nos puedan dar será destinada a llevar un plato de comida a los que luchan por devolver la paz y la democracia a nuestro país.
